This event aims to celebrate the cycle tracks whilst promoting the use of bicycles in a responsible manner as part of a healthy and active lifestyle. All abilities are welcome and there are a range of prizes to be won from Halfords and Decathlon. Places are limited so residents are advised to use the booking form
Harlow has one of the largest networks of cycle tracks in the country with approximately 30 miles of tracks. Cycling is a fun, healthy and environmentally friendly way of getting around town. A town the size of Harlow is perfect for cycling as most journeys are only a couple of miles long. At peak travel times it is often quicker to cycle than to drive.
It is recommended that the average adult should do 150 minutes of physical activity per week. Building cycling into your daily routine for short journeys will help you achieve this. Using the bicycle instead of the car will also help you to save money.
All abilities are welcome and there are a range of prizes to be won from Halfords and Decathlon.
Rides start at 10am and 11am. The event will finish at 2pm.
