Sea and Shore

The Gallery at Parndon Mill

Thursday 11th August 2016 - Sunday 18th September 2016

Marilyn Andreetti works in red earthenware clay using underglaze colours to draw and paint the images and finishing them with sgraffito. Her glaze is a simple clear one fired to 1060c in an electric kiln.
She often develops her photographs into drawings for her pots, with which she aims to enhance the table

Neil Robbins has painted in Cornwall for over 20 years, but following an absence of several years he reintroduced himself to the Cornish coast in 2014. He describes this as "a transforming moment of aliveness as I stood by the sea". He experienced it all with a fresh vision, and has since returned many times to paint.
